How do I setup Direct Deposit?
To start Direct Deposit (complete one of the following)
- Simply download and complete our Direct Deposit form and submit to your employer
- Provide your employer with your complete 13 digit account number and the HV routing number, 231387385.
To have Direct Deposit into your savings account by providing your complete member number and routing number instead of your checking account number.
How can I activate my new Debit Card?
To activate your new VISA debit card you can:
- Call our 24/7 Card Services Automated System at (717)840-4981, option #6, then press 2 and follow the prompts.
- Complete a 'Balance Inquiry' or any other transaction using any ATM
Can I change the PIN on my Debit Card?
Yes! It's simple and easy to change your PIN for any reason 24/7 using our Card Services Automated System. Just call (717)840-4981, option #6, then press 2 and follow the prompts to change your PIN.
Is there a fee to use my HV Debit Card for purchases?
No. There are no fees associated with using the Debit Card for purchases.
Is there a fee to use my card in an ATM?
There are no fees to use your card at one of Heritage Valley's branch ATMs. An ATM fee will be assessed by HV if you do more than 5 transactions at any non-Heritage Valley ATM in a monthly period.
What if I lose my card?
Contact HV immediately. We can close the card and issue a replacement on the spot if you stop by our location on Pleasant Valley Rd. All other offices will have a 1-2 business day delay of delivery. There is a small replacement fee.
Is there a limit on how much money can be withdrawn from an ATM each day?
Yes, there is a limit of $500 per day.
Is there a purchasing limit per day when using HV's Debit Card?
Yes, there is a limit of $2000 per day for purchasing items with your Debit Card. In some cases this limit can be temporarily raised if a large purchase is being made. Please contact
member services and they will be more than happy to help you.
How can I open a Christmas Club Account?
You can open an account on this website or stop into one of our three branches. You will need to bring two forms of identification.
Do Christmas Club Accounts require a minimum balance?
No. However, in order to have the Christmas Club Account, you will need to open a Primary Savings Account. The Primary Savings needs a minimum deposit of $20. This is not a fee. It is your share in the credit union as part owner.
Can I set up direct deposit or payroll deduction into my Christmas Club Account?
Yes. Heritage Valley can provide you with a Direct Deposit Form or Payroll Deduction Form which can be given directly to your Human Resources/Payroll Department. This deposit can be sent directly to your Heritage Valley Savings Account. You can then set up an automatic transfer into your Christmas Club Account.
Do Christmas Club Accounts have a maturity date?
Yes. Our Christmas Club Accounts mature on October 1st of each year. You may elect to transfer the balance in the Christmas Club into your checking account or savings account automatically upon maturity.
Are there any fees associated with the Christmas Club Account?
The only fee associated with the account is if you take a withdrawal prior to the accounts maturity on October 1st, you'll be charged a $10 fee.
