Heritage Gold Checking     

We’ve put all of the features you’re looking for in a checking account into our Heritage Gold Checking*. But it isn’t available to just anyone. This special account is only available to our members age 50 and above. Just look at some of the free goodies that we’ve packed into this account – plus all of the great features of our regular checking.

• 0.15% Bonus on Certificates of Deposits of $10,000 or more

Overdraft Protection

Don't worry if your checking account doesn't have enough collected funds to cover a transaction.  Heritage Valley offers a convenient overdraft protection from your savings account automatically.  You choose which account(s) the overdraft funds will be pulled from. A nominal cost will be incurred if this service is utilized.  Please contact your Member Service Representative for more details.  In addition to our overdraft protection we also offer Courtesy Pay.

Courtesy Pay

Unforeseen circumstances happen to us all...and usually at just the wrong time! You make an honest mistake in your checkbook and it leaves you a "little short" to cover all of your outstanding checks. That's why Heritage Valley offers Courtesy Pay, an added member service that protects you from the embarrassment and expense of returned checks.

• Protection from the embarrassment of returned checks
• Protection from merchant returned check charges
• Protection from collection agency fees
• Protects your good credit rating.

In addition to covering your checks and ACH transactions, Heritage Valley may approve everyday debit card and ATM transactions to help you avoid those potentially embarrassing situations.  To be protected by this additional Courtesy Pay Protection service, you must give your "opt-in" authorization.
